White Chocolate Lemon Donuts

White Chocolate Lemon Donuts are a delicious combination that combines the freshness of lemon with the sweetness of white chocolate. These donuts are simply irresistible, and once you try them, you won’t be able to resist eating more.

Ingredients

  • Juice 1 lemon Lemon Prim
  • zest 1 lemon
  • 250 gr sour milk (mix milk with juice of half a lemon)
  • 1 egg
  • 100 gr sugar
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 350 gr wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180º.
  2. Grease the donut pan with butter or nonstick spray.
  3. In a bowl or electric mixer, mix the butter with the sugar for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add the rest of the liquid ingredients: sour milk, egg, juice and lemon zest.
  5. Add the dry ingredients: flour and yeast.
  6. Combine both until you get a thick dough.
  7. Transfer the dough to a piping bag for easier pouring into the donut pan, filling it 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
  9. Let cool completely.
  10. Prepare the white chocolate by melting it in the microwave every several minutes.
  11. Dip the top of each donut in the chocolate and sprinkle a little lemon zest on top.
